Sweet Thai Baby Back Ribs with Baked Beans

BBQ sauce is a summer staple. And no BBQ is ever complete without a healthy dose of baby back ribs. To spice things up, we’ve simply combined the sauce you love with Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce, a must-have in Thailand for a match made in BBQ heaven.

Ingredients

Baby Back Ribs

  • 2 racks baby back pork ribs (about 4 lbs/2 kg total), cut in half
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 can baked beans

Sweet Thai BBQ Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Baby Back Ribs

  1. Cook ribs in large pot of boiling salted water over medium heat for 30 minutes or until tender and cooked through; drain well. Let cool slightly.
  2. Stir together kosher salt, chilli powder, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano and pepper; rub all over ribs.

Sweet Thai BBQ Sauce

  1. Stir together Blue Dragon Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce, BBQ sauce, vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  2. Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Grill ribs for 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
  3. Baste with Sweet Thai Barbecue Sauce; grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning and basting with sauce, until sticky and lightly charred.
  4. Serve with baked beans.

Sweet Chilli Sauce (190ml)

Notes

Try serving with corn on the cob, coleslaw, pickles, and cold beer.
